What is Lip Blush?

Lip blush is a form of permanent make up that naturally enhances the color of the lips, defines shape, and creates fullness. It softly defines your natural lip line and creates the illusion of a more symmetrical pout while adding a beautiful shade. This technique deposits colored pigment into the lips with a machine. It is aimed to be more sheer and natural rather than a ‘lip stick’ look; however, more saturated colors can be achieved with more sessions. Colors are customizable per the client’s preference and requests. Touch up is required to evaluate healed work, make adjustments, and finalize the shape and color within 2-3 months. With darker lips, it may require more than one touch up to achieve desired results.

Lip Blush Information

What can I expect during the procedure?

Consultation: the initial 30 minutes – 1 hour of the appointment will be spent working with you to carefully shape your lips. We are limited to how much we can extend your shape based on your natural lip contours. We CANNOT over-line past your natural lip tissue. Your facial tissue contains pores and hair follicles and will heal differently than your lip tissue.

Topical numbing is applied before and during the procedure to minimize any discomfort. Pain is subjective as some clients feel little to no pain, while some clients are more hypersensitive

Application of pigment is done using a machine and sterile single-use needle cartridges.

Instructions and supplies for aftercare are given to ensure optimal results. It is the responsibility of the client to properly follow the aftercare after leaving the studio.

How long is the healing process?

3-7 days
